Lee Elias, the author of When Hockey Stops, is an award-winning author, professional speaker, entrepreneur, and coach. His love for the game of hockey has taken him on a work-life journey that includes time with the NHL as a collegiate and professional coach, a business owner, and much more. He is the co-owner of Hockey Wraparound, Ultimate Sports Nation, and WeLive.Hockey, as well as the founder of Game Seven Group, an organization that inspires the world to believe in the power of trust and teamwork. Lee is also the director of GRIT, a Pivotal Moments Media Channel, which aims to break the stigma surrounding mental fitness by sharing stories from sports and athletics that can serve as a vehicle for growth for human beings.

Christie Casciano Burns, the co-author for When Hockey Stops, is an award-winning television news anchor in Syracuse, NY. Christie’s other children’s books, The Puck Hog 1 and 2, have been recognized nationally by Positive Coaching Alliance as “delightful books that teach an important lesson about teamwork.” Christie also writes a monthly hockey parent advice column for USA Hockey Magazine and is the author of My Kids Play Hockey.

Rose Mary Casciano Moziak is the illustrator for When Hockey Stops. Rose is also a freelance artist who received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University. She specializes in creating custom murals, paintings, graphic designs and illustrations. She has illustrated the books in “The Puck Hog” series written by her sister Christie Casciano Burns and a graphic novel written by Douglas Brode. Rose Mary resides in Fayetteville, NY.
